In an authentic hadith collected by Al-Bukhari, the Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said, “People who appoint a woman to be their leader will never be successful.” Therefore, our Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) answered the question 1,400 years ago – women do not make better leaders than men.
