This is an old book published on the history of Yemen. However it was written by a late prominent national patriot, and a well known scholar and literary personality. The book was written prior to unification of course, and most of the discussions on the patriotic movement covered what was then known as the Yemen Arab Republic or North Yemen, although he underscores keeping in mind the importance of “natural Yemen””
