Yemen Times Celebrates its 10th Anniversary [Archives:2001/09/Front Page]

In the presence of more than 200 personalities from the government, press, diplomatic sector, international organizations, political activists and other intellectuals, the 10th anniversary celebration of Yemen Times will be held tomorrow at the Sheraton Hotel to mark the Yemen Times entering it’s 11th year since it was founded in 1991 by Prof. Abdulaziz Al-Saqqaf.
There can be no doubt that the growth of Yemen Times over the years has been tremendous on all levels. YT now has a worldwide readership of hundreds of thousands. Today, Yemen Times stands among the most credible, independent, respected, and widely read newspaper in Yemen.
Thanks to the increasing readership of Yemen Times, it has become one of the landmarks of Yemeni press freedom in both the Arab and the wider world.
